You must have heard of New Zealand as the perfect holiday destination but are doubting if Oz is truly as beautiful as people claim. Your scepticism is permitted; most places never live up to the hype. Coming to New Zealand is a big decision. It is miles from your home, and you don’t know anything about this country of Islands. This review gives you reasons to visit our beautiful Island.

Safe Tourist Welcome

Very few places are as open to tourists as New Zealand. Beyond the sights and the culture, the land is also a haven for travellers. Everything from the smooth travels, limited international restrictions, lodging structures, activities, and food all seem to invite you to explore the islands. Taking a road trip across the land is so easy with the excellent road network and the efficient information centres all over the country.

Perfect Place For Adventure

We recommend getting on the next plane and coming to New Zealand immediately if you are looking for adventure. This country has everything you need, from mild fun activities to extreme sports. There is no better place for skydiving, waterskiing, paragliding or even bungee jumping than Queenstown. You can tackle the excellent walking trail on Milford Sound’s 130km trail or go hiking, kayaking or canoeing. New Zealand has every exciting activity you can imagine.

A Blend of Great Architecture and Scenery

Just here for the sights? You are not ready for this view. Sightseeing and photography take a new turn on this Island. There is so much to see, and we are not just talking about the terrain. Yes, these Islands are full of breathtaking views; you have mountains, glaciers, lakes and beautiful forests. But there is more to see than natural beauty.

Artificial Architecture in New Zealand stands out and still compliments the natural terrain. The country is full of age-worn structures and modern constructions like St. Mary’s Basilica, SkyTowers in Auckland, Greytown First Masonic Hall and even the Wellington Harbour Board Head Office and Bond Store. There are several picture-perfect landmarks and rich architectural structures for you to feast your eyes on.

Rich Culture

You must have heard of Captain James Cook and how he discovered the Maori people known as New Zealand in 1769. Well, that is barely the start of our cultural heritage. There are six recognized cultural groups in New Zealand, and they all have a wealth of history and traditions that you have to see. The ethnic groups have also integrated with the international community and migrated population, making New Zealand a small reflection of the entire world with diverse cultures and values. The country indulges in several activities ranging from music, sports to other multi-cultural festivals.

We Have Hobbiton

We try not to brag about it, but New Zealand is the real Middle Earth! No? Nothing? Come on! J.R.R Tolkien’s bestselling book Lord of The Ring came alive in over 150 New Zealand locations, and since it hit the screens in 2001, tourists from all over the world have been coming to see the places featured in the film.

The movie sets spanned the North and South Islands, taking root in Milford Sound and Mount Ngauruhoe. Using Waikato as Hobbiton turned out to be a great idea since the made-up town is now one of the country’s most visited tourist attraction sites. If you want to see places like the Shire, Gardens of Isengard and the Paths of the Dead, New Zealand is your destination.

Volcanoes!!!

You have probably seen it in the news; New Zealand has over 200 volcanoes, with at least 50 of those in Auckland. Volcanoes like the Islands are part of the rich landscape of the country. Sights like Mt. Eden or the other volcanic cones are responsible for the picturesque view of New Zealand. Before you express your concern about volcanic eruptions, please note that most of these volcanoes are dormant or even extinct. There are only 12 active volcanoes in the country, and as long as you don’t go too close, you will be safe from their lava and ash.

Nau Mai Ki Te Kainga

There is so much for you to see and do here, New Zealand has opened its arms to welcome you, and we hope you will accept this invitation. We are here to guide you through your trip with details and tips on enjoying your stay. Welcome, we are sure you will love our land.
