Have you purchased a Corporate Plus or Flexible Fare for travel before 28 February 2010 on a Virgin Blue domestic flight?  If so, you have the opportunity to purchase a Premium Economy Taster Upgrade, and enjoy more space, comfort and choice with access to The Lounge and all the on-board benefits.

When can I purchase a Premium Economy Taster Upgrade?

You can purchase a Premium Economy Taster Upgrade between 3 hours and 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time for your flight if:

• You have already booked a Flexible or Corporate Plus fare for your flight;
• There are Premium Economy fares available on your flight; and
• You have not checked in.

How do I purchase a Premium Economy Taster Upgrade?

• You can purchase an Upgrade using your credit card or credit shell by calling the Virgin Blue Guest Contact Centre 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 13 67 89 (within Australia); or calling the Virgin Blue Business Service Centre between 8:00am and 5:00pm AEST Monday to Friday.
• You can also redeem your Velocity Points by calling the Velocity Membership Contact Centre on 13 18 75 (within Australia) between 8:00am and 8:00pm AEST Monday to Friday. Please note that Taster Upgrades cannot be purchased using Velocity Points for flights departing before 9:00am or after 11:00pm AEST weekdays or flights departing during weekends.
• Upgrades can NOT be purchased at the airport, in The Lounge or via any other sales channel.

Premium Economy Terms and Conditions

Premium Economy fares and upgrades are subject to availability and product may not be available on all flights and routes.  For safety reasons, Premium Economy is not available to unaccompanied minors under the age of 15 years old.

~ With the exception of flights from Denpasar to Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, Brisbane to Honiara and Port Moresby (and return flights operated by Virgin Blue), Premium Economy is not available on Pacific Blue or Polynesian Blue flights.

Europcar: Offer is exclusive to Virgin Blue Premium Economy Guests, valid for an upgrade from a FDAR (Full Size Sedan) to an Audi A6 (LXAR) only, or a double upgrade for the following vehicle classes only: ECMR (Economy Car) to IDAR (Intermediate Class), CDAR (Compact Class) to SDAR (Standard Class), IDAR (Intermediate Class) to FDAR (Full Size Sedan). Upgrades are subject to availability, for rentals in Australia only at participating locations. Audi A6 is not available at all locations. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. You must present your Premium Economy boarding pass at the Europcar counter to validate the upgrade. In addition to rental charges a security bond will be pre authorised from your credit card for the FXAR (A4), LXAR (A6) and PTAR (Convertible) Audi vehicle categories. The security bond will be $5,500. This rental comes with 200 free kilometres per day. A charge of $0.25 will apply for every additional kilometre travelled and this is subject to relevant fees and taxes. ## Premium Economy Taster Upgrade Terms and Conditions

Premium Economy Taster Upgrade is valid on Virgin Blue domestic flights for Guests travelling on Corporate Plus or Flexible Fares.
Upgrade includes access to The Lounge and Premium Economy in-flight benefits only.  The Fare Rules of your original booking class apply for changes, cancellations, credits and refunds.

Upgrade bookings, and subsequent changes and cancellation to Premium Economy Taster Upgrades must be made through the Virgin Blue Guest Contact Centre, Business Service Centre, or Velocity Membership Contact Centre between 3 hours and 45 minutes prior to your flight departure.  As the Velocity Membership Contact Centre operates between 8:00am and 8:00pm AEST Monday to Friday, please note that Taster Upgrades redeemed with Velocity Points cannot be booked, changed or cancelled for flights departing before 9:00am or after 11:00pm AEST weekdays or any weekend flight departure.

The Premium Economy Taster Upgrade fee is non-refundable.
